Missing for my holiday plums/prunes

I was in Italy and had these gorgeous plums/prunes every morning. They were large and not too wrinkled and still had the stone in them.

Now I'm back in UK i'd love to find my magical prunes/plums some but the shops are full of standard tinned wrinkled ones.

Any ideas where i could find some or even tasted my magical plums/prunes?

Whatever they were, they sound yummy! 😋

I'm not sure if these are similar: www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/sainsburys-red-plums-in-light-syrup-567g

Waitrose sell prunes d’agen which are plumper and more ready to eat.

We're you just there, or was this in summer when the fruit was fresh and in season?

I buy prunes from M&S but they no longer seem to stock them in the small food halls only the bigger ones.

I find soft prunes sold in packets much nicer than tinned. Lidl and Aldi sell them.

I've just come back from Italy.

Im usually not that bothered but they were so great I want to find them in the UK. I will try the sainsbury ones that 7238SM recommended and see what they're like
