Does anyone have the Camilla Tea Loaf recipe

I used to make this year's ago and I've lost the recipe. A quick look online only show a recipe by weight where the one I made used all measures in a mug. I just can't remember the amount of eggs and the timings for cooking. I'm sure it was a mug of fruit soaked in tea, a mug of brown sugar, mug of flour and eggs, though i could be wrong.

Thank you for that, I mislaid my mother's decades-old recipe and that is the same thing. I used the traditional 'boiled cake' (bringing the tea/fruit mixture to the boil for five minutes) method so I didn't have to wait for the overnight soak.

Thanks for this, looks good. I can't read the fraction for the candied peel - is it half a mug?

I wasn't sure - put in what I had, which wasn't much. I thought it would have been better with a bit less sugar. People sometimes put a little mixed spice in it.

Seems a lot of sugar, is that right?

Is that 1 mug of sultanas and 1 mug of raisins and then half mug of mixed peel?

I'm not sure whether the peel is half or quarter - in any case I used less than that and it is fruity and delicious. And better still when spread with butter.
