Any bright ideas - DS who is 16 months is refusing most foods at the moment - tried alsorts - but most he will have is grapes, strawberries, yoghurt and milk to drink.

Tried sandwiches, all kinds of finger foods, potato wedges, etc - to no avail!

I know this is probably a phase but it has been going on for 2 months now!

A quick question. Do you stand over him when he's eating and try to convince him to eat?

Does he like meat my daughter loves roast chicken.

Did you watch the TV programme "my child won't eat" - had good tips, you can view it on the internet, go to the ITV website.

avenanap - I have tried putting the food on his spoon or fork, tried to encourage him by using his big sister as an example - they usually have the same - and also tried ignoring him. We usually all sit down together ahd he likes to have metal cutlery and a proper bowl.

He is not fond of any meat and is not even bothered pinching bits off our plates.

Didnt see that programme but heard about it - will try to view it online.

He is very active and still drinks milk morning and evening, and usually eats a good breakfast - weetabix, toast and yoghurt and fruit.
