Chocolate eggs. I have moulds and wanted to try these but I’m sure they didn’t 100% turn out right last time, any tips or tricks? Might also be doing this with a child.

The only thing I can remember about doing this years ago is that when you swirl the chocolate around the mould to coat them you need to get plenty around the top to form a sort of lip so that the two halves fit together properly

I'm sure there will be more expert people on here who can explain tempering chocolate etc but I never quite got the hang of that!

No, use chocolate that you would want to eat.

The one thing I remember is that you need to polish the inside of the mould REALLY well. We used cotton wool and spent a good while polishing them.
