Best non toxic material BREAD MAKER?

Trying to keep away from products that use the toxic tefal or plastics. So have been reading up on stainless steel ones with ceramic bread baking component.

Totally new to bread making machines

Any advice

Glass bowl.

I went on a fancy baking course. Still use the recipes, easiest one is foccacia.

Stir the water, flour, yeast and salt together, leave overnight, pour into a cast iron dish with olive oil and semolina, bake....

Way easier to clean, no toxic chemicals.

Highly recommend a Ma Baker course!

So no bread maker, do it the old fashioned way?

I wish wish I had the time but it’s just me and LO and work and lots going on. I feel like I’d mess it up / well I have in the past doing it the old fashioned way 🫣
And the reliability and being able to time it, of a machine option is just easier, better for me.

Id be looking at making all those types of long Fermented/sprouted/sourghdough healthy types of bread. Plus liked that you can make some banana bread other type healthy bread cake recipes I’ve seen

I can't see how a breadmaker is quicker. Traditional bread is a load of kneading but I can't do that now. I cba with cleaning a bread machine but I'm sure others will be along with more help.

Well for starters you don't need to "leave overnight" if using a bread machine. So yeah, it's a hell of a lot quicker.

And cleaning a bread machine is as quick as, if not quicker than, cleaning a mixing bowl and a baking dish/pan.

I am a member of several online bread machine groups, the options for non nonstick ones are very scarce and don't know if any are available here, few in US alright.

I have two breadmakers and love them but I use them more for making the dough and then baking in the oven rather than for baking the loaf start to finish. One is the bigger Lidl two paddle type and I do bake loaves in that occasionally as they are a good size, the other one is smaller one paddle and perfect for making dough.

Yes I could use a glass bowl or my kitchenaid but I wont because I believe bread is far too hard on the mixer and will shorten it's life and secondly that still leaves me with the getting it to rise bit and in a predominately cold kitchen that takes too long. The fact that the dough setting on the machine, 90 mins, gives me perfectly twice kneaded and risen dough ready to be popped in a tin for it's final rise and baked I think is great. Glass bowl doesn't work for me either as I hate the feel of dough sticking to my hands, can't stand it so wont do it manually. The ball of dough that comes out of the breadmaker is perfectly ready and not sticky at that stage.

Anyway this doesn't help your quest for a stainless steel or ceramic pan but maybe using it for the shorter dough cycle rather than fully baking in it might work for you. I bake it, slice it and freeze it same day, best way to keep it fresh, easy to make sandwiches from frozen if wanted for later or only takes 15 mins or so to thaw a slice or microwave in seconds.
