Are Bananas always bruised or have got a bit of black on them. Most Bananas i buy have been bad for a while but you can't tell until you peel them. Is it me or has anyone else noticed this waste of money.

Ypu can turn them into banana bread 😋😋 but agree they have been getting worse lately

The ones I get from Asda aren’t bruised under the skin but if you go to a shop have you tried getting the green bananas? the skin and fruit is tougher before ripe so I think they’d be less likely to bruise. I don’t like mine too yellow so always used to get green before I started online shopping

I think custard was invented to cover up the manky bits on bananas, wasn't it?

Absolutely. I just paid a fortune ($6 !!!) for a tin of Ambrosia custard because I had an insane craving for bananas and custard. It was worth every cent.
