Defrosted steak

I defrosted some fillet and sirloin steak but did not use it yesterday. Will it be ok to cook tonight

I'd imagine so. If it smells fine. I'd be extra cautious with steak though as I like it quite rare. Like I wouldn't freeze it on the day it expires. In fact I would avoid freezing steak in general. Don't really know why, mind. There's nothing wrong with it.
