Instead of one 2kg piece of pork, I've got two 1kg pieces. I'm wondering about cooking time - do I calculate the cooking time for 1kg or 2kg?

I assume you’re going to cook them in the one dish, they will take longer than one piece but not as long as two. I would do 1kg for 1.45 hours a 2kg for about 3 hours. So the two together I would allow 2.5 hours. But then add in rest time, I allow an 1/2 to 1 hour, go for about 1hour this allows you extra time to cook if you feel it needs it, but will be fine resting if it’s done.

im doing a 2.3 kg leg today so will cook for 3hours with an hour rest
