I have a 3 cup pot which is becoming a nuisance because I (not sure why) forgot it was a 3 cup and am drinking the whole lot in one go, and Im not really meant to have caffeine so although occasionally I use de caf, I sometimes like the other ones (as they have different flavours)

So I think I should use a 1 cup, but, which brand. Bog standard any old brand?

I have a Bialetti, which I got because I thought it was better, but is it?

I dont want one that dribbles and I hear that many of the other ones dribble

Any recommendations?

One cup is so small but if that's all you should drink in a day then fair enough. I have a multiple cup one but split the coffee over two cups during the morning or (purists look away now) use half the next day!

Bialetti all the way for me as I'm using a 10+ year old one several times a week and it's going strong as I've got replacement parts easily. I bought a cheapo version to get a bigger size but it was totally rubbish and wouldn't risk it again.

I thought you may say that about the Bialetti yes, thats my instinct to stay with that brand

The problem with drinking it through out the day is that I really cant absorb that much caffiene, not meant to have it at all, its fine when I use the de caf but it only comes in one flavour whereas in the normal coffee we have, we have Columbian, Brasilian, Ethiopian that sort of thing, they're all different so its nice

Do you keep it in the pot when you split it over 2 days? That would mean I couldnt do a de caf coffee later in the day if I did that (got no issue doing that, Im not a purist!!)
