Pancakes ideas (Scottish style)

Shrove Tuesday soon!

We're Scottish so it won't be crepes, it'll be the thick fluffy type pancakes. No good with lemon and sugar like crepes are.

What's your favourite sweet toppings for these types of pancakes?

Previously we've had:
Berries/honey
Stewed pears and cinnamon
Banana and toffee sauce

Looking for something new this year 😋

M&S Hazelnut Cream is very nice , a bit like the middle of a Bueno Bar . Bu I haven't seen it in our M&S for a while .
They do a Pistachio Cream which is also delicious but a fugly colour .
As my DD would say "Best eaten in the dark"

Blueberries warmed up with a bit of honey until they burst

Honey, chopped dates and walnuts

warmed cherries and flaked almonds

Ice cream and toffee sauce is my go to. Banana on top if you feel the need for fruit.
