Inspiration needed - what can I do with frozen diced beef steak?

Ideally cheap, hearty and will go a long way?? any ideas? stew maybe?

chuck it in a caserole pot or slow cooker. Add a chopped onion and whatever root veg's you have and mushrooms and add some beef stock then put in oven for about 2 1/2-3 hours at 160 ish or all day in slow cooker. Serve with loads of mash and dumplings

Jools favourite beef stew in Jamies Dinners book....really nice, makes loads and has potatoes in it so all in one dish. Can look it up for you if you like.

Not as such but I have this book and it's blimin great

I tend to do what furball recomended but add a squirt or two of HP sauce and some Worcestershire sauce, maybe some beer/red wine too
