I have a pork joint 1 dodo out of date. Will it be ok if I freeze it and cook it another time as

Pork is revolting when it goes off and if its already one day out of date and then it would need another day to defrost that may well happen. How does it smell? You would be better off cooking it straight away to kill any bacteria and then freezing it (you'd probably be best of slicing it after cooking).

Food doesn't suddenly go off at midnight. Smell it, then I'd freeze it if it smells okay.

I'd probably be more inclined to check if it still smells ok and then cook it and freeze the cooked meat. For me that would be sliced and in gravy in portions for handy dinners but other options too.

My mother was a terror for freezing stuff on it's last legs and my father was always saying to her it's not going to improve in there, it would be kept then too long and end up being no good in the finish up!
