Is it best served hot or cold? It is so long since I've eaten any that I can't remember which tastes best. Tending to think cold would be better.

Assuming cold, can I make it today for eating tomorrow, or will it not taste so good? Or can I do the pie and lemon bit today, then add meringue tomorrow?

Ohh lemon meringue.... drool! You've made me really want one now!

I'd say make it today, I reckon it'll be ok for tomorrow!

Thank you all. Had decided to do the pastry and lemon today, then add meringue tomorrow but it hasn't happened. It has been one of those days...

I will still eat it cold though, I think, when I finally get round to making it.
