What’s your favourite thing to make with yours?

I’ve wanted one for years and I spotted a deluxe model on FB Marketplace for £90 and I snapped it up! I have 3 different flavours in the freezer ready to spin later this evening 😁

are you on the marketing team for ninja creami

Bought one for my teen for Christmas and he LOVES it. He whips up his own recipes as he likes to experiment and he is big on health so is limiting sugar and upping protein apparently - we’ve had zero sugar lemonade with grapes sorbet, vanilla ice cream - on its own and with “mix ins” like a few Oreos or a small hunk of cake - coffee ice cream …

I love mine. I was never a fan of vanilla, but making my own is worlds apart from the shop bought vanilla.

Also, strawberry ice cream with real strawberries. Nom.

Need to try more recipes.

They have a crazy social media advertising budget. To the point where it feels like a scam.

Silly question, but are there any more savoury recipes for this.
because we’re tempted to get one but I’m more on the savoury side.
quite fancy a goats cheese ice as wierd as that sounds!

I’ve seen pineapple sorbet that I want to try! All you do is tip a whole tin of pineapple into the tub (with the syrup!) freeze it then blend on the sorbet setting, it sounds amazing. I LOVE pineapple!

I also have a cherry bakewell recipe lined up that I’m looking forward to trying 😋

We’ve just sat down with our bowls that I put in the freezer yesterday. The kids both say it’s the best ice cream they’ve ever had! High praise indeed, these kids are huge fans of our local award winning ice cream place 😌 I made chocolate for them and mint choc chip for me, mine was delicious, but not the best. I think that was because I used minimal fat and sugar in mine so it wasn’t really creamy like the kids was. DH hasn’t tried his caramel one yet, though his should be nice and creamy as it has the same base as the kids ice cream.

Don’t get me wrong, mine was still really tasty, just not creamy. And I’m definitely looking forward to making the most out of it in the summer with slushes and milkshakes etc!

A tip for making sorbet using tinned fruit - when it's whizzed up it can lose some flavour and be a bit tasteless so I add a spoonful of jelly crystals that I've dissolved in a little bit of boiling water. Orange jelly for mandarin, peaches and mango. Tinned strawberries are my favourite to make sorbet.

Mumsknot · 20/01/2026 19:12

My dd makes the pineapple sorbet thing from the tinned pineapple and it is delicious

i have high cholesterol so make ice cream with 0% Fage and add flavours to it

it’s something we use really often tbh and I’m not a fan of kitchen gadgets

Ah ok, I didn't know that, and I thought you were one of the many we seem to have lately who try to stamp on an OP from the start, my apologies!!
