Sauce recipes?

Hi I was given a mega blender for Xmas with the ability to make sauces. It’s got a sautee function and a ‘sauce’ button (as well as soups, smoothies and jams).

anyway the reason for my post is to ask for sauce recommendations? Can only think of tomato and tomato and veg types for pasta which are great but would love more variety!

TIA

Bases for curries. For example, I make the Dishoom makhani sauce as my base for many Indian curries. I blend it all (except any of the big chunky spices) before adding chicken or paneer. Thai or Malaysian curries would work equally well.

Various dips: hummus, bean dip, roasted red pepper dip, whipped feta

'Vegan' sauces: cashew or butternut squash-based sauces with nutritional yeast etc.

Drizzled sauces or dressings: herby green sauce, on chicken, fish, grain bowls, eggs or miso–ginger dressing on veg, tofu, noodles for example. Green goddess dressing for salads and crudites.

Fruit purees for use in recipes, for example I can only eat banana in banana bread that has been through a blender, apple sauce in various cake recipes too, if you want to go beyond smoothies.
