Looking to get one as everyone raves about them but not sure which brand is best. Want to be able to use it for onions, carrots etc. Recommendations gratefully received!.

Following. I have an Alligator chopper which is great at dicing onion into tiny pieces but can't cope with carrots or anything hard.

I also have had the Ninja one for 6 years and find it excellent

Another vote for the Ninja. Having two bases is great as you can chop
stuff for later (like herbs) and seal the top.
I use mine for onions carrots celery etc to make soup as well as breadcrumbs. Great for hidden veg in spaghetti bol for my grandchildren, I like it too as it makes a really nice texture (onion, carrot, celery and garlic).
Excellent for a larger quantity of herbs like parsley too.
only thing it doesn’t do is ice!
Not huge but very reasonably priced and I find it easier to do a few veg at a time.
Much easier to clean too; I swill with water and add it to the soup or whatever.
