Is cannelloni foolproof?

I want a main course that I can make earlier in the day then bake - have served these friends lasagne, tagine, curry etc before. Is a spinach and cheese cannelloni fairly foolproof? And serve with a salad and garlic bread? Tried and tested recipes welcome!

Are you in the UK? I only ask because I cannot get Cannelloni in my
local supermarkets at the moment. I used to make one using spinach, ricotta etc but haven’t for ages as I can’t find it.

I am in the UK and oh no! That would scupper my plans!

I buy them on Amazon.

@SpiceGhoul I hadn’t thought of Amazon - good idea thank you!

It’s so time consuming stuffing them 😀

No need to faff around stuffing them, use lasagne sheets.
Make the filling, & either use fresh pasta to wrap around to make the cylinders, or boil dried sheets for about 5 minutes, lay on a tea towel until dryish.

I’ve chickened out and making lasagne instead. 🤣 Thanks everyone anyway!

Use a piping bag with largest nozzle, stand pasta tube on a plate or board fill and then add to baking dish. Takes a couple of minutes a supposed to trying use a small spoon to fill them.
