I bought a taste the difference gammon from Sainsbury’s 1.3 kg
I have a fan oven
I covered it in foil
the instructions said 2 hours on 180 degrees.
the juices seems to run clear and it was steaming quite dark pink. I don’t have an actual thermometer. However I think I may have had the oven on 150 degrees and after an hour I may have opened the cooker a few times now I’m scared, it seemed ok but worried we may have bacteria or parasites ! I’m so tried and rushing about all the time silly me
This is a guide only. Oven cook from chilled 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6 2 hrs
