What’s the best thing you’ve eaten today?

I’m going to say the Berthaut’s Epoisses cheese I’m just getting round. Very very good end to the day. The braised red cabbage was a strong second.

A sandwich made from cold beef wellington, roasted carrots,sprouts and lots of lettuce in home made focaccia. With a dash of red wine sauce.

DH's sausage meat stuffing, both hot yesterday and cold today.
One of my homemade frangipane mince pies was up there as well.

Between the jerk roast beef and the roast potatoes. Think I’ll give it to the potatoes which took DH a lot of effort but are the best I’ve ever had, crispy and crunchy outside and fluffy inside and somehow managed to stay very hot on the inside for at least half an hour after cooking.
