Gingerbread Biscuit Recipe Suggestions

I want to make a couple of sets of gingerbread biscuits for Twixtmas (the Christmas/New Year period). I would like them to contain the following ingredients:

• Flour
• Sugar
• Water
• Egg
• Salt
• Ground Ginger
• Black Treacle

(Maybe some mixed spices, oils and raising agents, but I want to keep it as homemade as I can)

I would like one to have Butter Toffee flavouring of some sort and cinnamon, and the other to have white pepper…

Can you provide me with some recipes?

Family recipe

4oz butter
8oz plain flour
4oz soft brown sugar
1tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp black treacle
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp rum
pinch of salt

rub butter into flour. Add everything else and mix to dough. Put in fridge overnight.

roll out dough and cut shapes. Bake 160deg C for 8-10 minutes depending on how thin the dough is.
