Turkey crown

I've got a 2.6 kg turkey crown and looked at instructions and says 2 and half hours to cook is that really all it takes?
Also I will season it before going in.oven but doing a butter and parsley mix is it better under the skin or over ?
Asking as my mum normally cooks the turkey and its wonderful but she has been poorly so I'm doing it this year and want it to be right.

Yes, that cooking time sounds correct. If using butter and hernd i would.do under the skin.

I’d do butter under and over/on top

I cooked a crown today of similar size, it took 2 hrs 40mins but to be fair could probably have come out 10 mins earlier and been fine, I just didn't get to it!
