Leith's Christmas pudding chocolate fridge cake recipe

Hi all.

Around 2021, I made Pru Leith's Christmas pudding chocolate fridge cake from a recipe online. It's now vanished and I'd like to make them again - anyone got it?

It was like a fairly standard fridge cake with butter, digestive biscuits and cocoa but also Christmas pudding. Sounds weird but was actually really good. I could improvise with quantities but I'd prefer to use the recipe if anyone has it?

Thanks and seasons greetings!

I'm sorry I don't but I am bumping for you in the hope that someone posts it so I can make it too

No help either but this is going on my watch list! 🤤

Does it have condensed milk in it? I'm rubbish at links but one comes up by Peta Leith if you google it.

Actually I think that might be something different, sorry. Looks yummy though!

Thanks very much @NoodlesMcGee (great name). That looks to be the nearest alternative but uses actual chocolate rather than cocoa. I may give it a go!.

@MissHelenSweetstory and @TappaMcFeety - If I go rogue and try to do my own I'll report back (if it is good that is).

We will be here waiting - and a pic too please.

No pressure! 😁

Hello all. I hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. Seems a long time ago now but I did promise to report back if I made my own version and has been on my to do list for a while now. So....you will need:
150 g butter very soft
1 tbsp sugar (soft brown or caster)
1 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cocoa
250 g digestives bashed up (can leave some bigger bits if desired to give a speckly effect but not too big)
2x 100g individual Christmas puds chopped very small (or 200g of a leftover big one obviously!)
1 tsp vanilla essence
Half a level tsp of mixed spice
Cream the butter and sugar together and add the cocoa, mixed spice, vanilla and golden syrup. Add in the pudding and mix then add in the biscuits. It is a bit of a challenge to get all the biscuits mixed in but they will go. Put in a tin (I think I used a 20x20cm one) and put in the fridge for at least a couple of hours. And enjoy (I ate one sitting in bed on Christmas day!)
