Quick question on this Nigella pudding

Making Nigella's marmalade pudding and it says:

'Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/gas mark 4/350°F and butter a 24cm / 8inch square ovenproof dish.'

Does it matter whether the dish is metal like a brownie pan or ceramic/glass etc?

I would do it in a Pyrex dish but I think a metal one would be OK - it might cook a bit faster and possibly be overdone at the edges.

Thanks yes that's was my concern with metal. Just that the metal dish is a uniform size and angle all round!
