I’d like to gift some people edible Christmas gifts this year.

Do you have any good recipes?

Thanks.

I’ve made Mary Berry’s Christmas chutney a lot over the years and it’s always well received. It is spicy though.

I made Baileys fudge in my slow cooker one year, it was absolutely delicious and so easy.

Sloe gin always well received. Might be too late for this year though!

Pickled onions, mine are famous for taking the roof off your mouth.

Pickle according to St Delia for the brining. Then pack the onions in jars, cover with spiced pickling vinegar, then add pickling spice too and if you can get it a glug of raspberry vinegar.

Shortbread is easy to make.

Does anyone have a dense, shortbread-type recipe I can use to make, into which I can press a mould to make 3d shaped biscuits?
