Posted on Christmas board but asking here too - my Xmas pudding mix has been in fridge for 7 days as I haven't had 8 hours in the house to steam it- can I still steam it today or should I start again ? It has eggs in. Thanks

I would start again unfortunately and I am no germophobe

Raw egg mix for a week in a mix like that isn’t something I’d risk

Thank you !

I’d cook it assuming there’s booze in it

Bin it.
I'm normally on the slacker side in "should I eat this" debates, but this has too much germ potential, with too long in the fridge. Sorry.

That's too long even for me! Do you have a slow cooker? I do my puds overnight on high, just make sure the water level is about half way up the puddings and off you go.
