If you have the ‘Persiana’ recipe book…

… how many recipes hace you made from there?
A family member always gives me a cookery book for Christmas, asks DH for ideas, so I want to prime him!
We had a meal at friends recently and all the food was from Persiana and it was great. But I don’t want a book that I’ll only make a couple of things from.

Weirdly, I was looking at it yesterday and made the biryani. We've definitely made quite a few dishes from it

I've got the "Everyday" one.

I've made 3 or 4, would possibly be more if I didn't have another 93 books to choose from !

Lots - it’s a great book. Probably my most used cookery book (apart from trusty Delia Complete Cookery Course! 😁)

I also have a gazillion cook books, also love Delia‘s CCC. Think I will suggest this one as an option. Thank you

I have this book and really like it- lots of good recipes and mostly pretty healthy as well.

I do think the original Persiana is the best one (better than Persiana Everyday and Persiana Easy)

I have a couple of the Persiana books but never cook from them. Can’t put my finger on why!

Must admit, when I was searching through it the other day, I was thinking that I didn't quite like the layout. Like the font wasn't as clear as could be or there were photos of food but it wasn't always clear which dish that was.

hmmm am undecided now! Maybe I need to try and find it in a shop and have a look.

The friend who cooked for us from it is away for a couple of weeks so can’t look at her book, and don’t want to bother her with such questions while she is away.

Loads! It's great for doing a selection of dishes from when you have friends round. Easy to prepare ahead mostly as well.
