How to cook jasmine rice?!

I cooked some jasmine rice a few weeks ago but it wasn’t the fluffy consistency I wanted…any suggestions on how to cook it just in a regular saucepan on the hob?!

i use a rice cooker...

I think it's supposed to be sticky.

I always do rice like this
rinse 1 cup of rice
add 1.5 cups of water and a bit of salt
bring to boil for a few mins
turn heat to low, cook until fluffy and all water absorbed.
and if I buy jasmine rice ,tilda.

Rinse twice.
Cold water to mid index finger above rice.
Microwave on 900w for 12 minutes, or equivalent (time x power).
Leave it until you need it, then fluff it up.
