Pudding ideas for Christmas buffet

Any suggestions, please, for individual puddings based on Christmas pudding, that can be left out (so not CP ice cream, although it's delicious). I read about mini pudding on a stick, but can't find a recipe or how to make them.

Why individual puddings? I always make a big trifle, chocolate log and cheesecake type of desserts and let people help themselves which seems to work.
The trouble with individual desserts is you need so many dishes and many people want to try more than one!
(sorry I know they are not Christmas pudding based either!).

What’s your best chocolate log recipe???

Lemon tart
Meringue type pud

Cheesecake. Tiramisu. Trifle. Banoffee pie.

I've used all these, often two of them together depending on numbers. No problems leaving them out for self serve. However, I only put them out when the savoury stuff was gone.

I’m doing a buffet on Boxing Day. I’m making a trifle, Yule log and mince pies with clotted cream or brandy butter.

Nigella’s Christmas pudding truffles look quite cute.

Christmas pudding mixed into a good quality vanilla ice cream. You can do little individual ones and freeze them, if you still have space in the freezer by now.

Candice Brown has some excellent alternative Xmas dessert recipes - there’s lots available if you search.

What’s your best chocolate log recipe???

That’s the only thing I don’t actually make! I buy one from either M&S or Cook!!
Theres just not enough time at Christmas to make one from scratch.

Thanks everyone, some lovely ideas. I'd totally forgotten about the existence of yule logs! And the mini puds ideas area great.
