Shall I add another can of kidney beans? I think I overdid it rinsing out the tomato cans. Help!

Can you spoon out the excess water and leave the lid off so it evaporates, what veg did you use.

Pop it on high and leave the lid off. Could also add any beans.

Strain it into a saucepan so the sieve has the veggies and the saucepan has the watery stuff. Put the veggies back in the slow cooker. Boil the saucepan on the hop to reduce it by, say, half. Then return the thickened sauce to the slow cooker and give it a good stir.

Definitely throw in more kidney beans, and seconding leaving off the lid. If you want to serve soon, pop some in a pan and boil to reduce (been there)...

If you've got time split red lentils will soak/thicken that up in about 20 mins - half hour.
Tasty too!

Wow thank you, great ideas!
I used onions, carrots, celery, green and red peppers then the kidney beans so I think I will spoon off the extra water & add more beans - also red lentils, great idea. I will add back to saucepan if that doesn’t work. I’m not in a rush to serve it so will keep it in the slow cooker for a couple of hours. Thank you all!
