Best chopper for carrots and other veg

Hello everyone
looking for an advice on which gadget to get to speed up cutting / chopping veg. Carrots take me always the longest! Mechanical chopper or an electric device? Anything that works for you and get my veg chopped and into the pan faster? Thanks!

Just a knife really

I have used both a food processor and an imitation Thermie. Both are about the same as each other for whizzing into a rough mirepoix.

Peel carrots, onion, celery, etc, chop roughly and whizz. Done.

A good sharp knife. Also, just wash them, dont bother peeling.

Used a lot, 5 years old & going strong.

A mandoline will make short work of carrots but they're not for everyone. ALWAYS wear protective steel mesh gloves, or don't come crying to me when you lose a finger.
