Cookie dough question

NigellaWannabe1 · 22/11/2025 07:52

I’ve got some cookie dough which has been in the contest part of the fridge for approx three weeks. Do I shape and cook straight from the fridge or should I let it come to room temperature?

Im not sure it's still safe to eat if its been in your fridge for weeks!
I freeze balls of cookie dough and cook from frozen

I think they should be ok as I understand the sugar acts as a preservative, so the dough (I believe) lasts longer than you’d think. Also, my fridge has a 0 degrees box and they’ve been kept there - but I’ll do as you suggest and freeze cookie calls in the future.

When you cook your cookies from frozen, how do you adjust the oven temp and time? Thanks!

I just do the usual temperature and cook for a few minutes longer. Ive also cooked them in my airfryer when I just need to make a couple. Sit them on a little bit of parchment paper (keeps the airfryer cleaner too)

What a great idea about the air fryer! What temperature and time do you use?
