Substitute for goats cheese in this recipe for Parma ham bundles please

I love these Parma ham bundles and want to serve them with drinks when I have friends round in a couple of days. However my DH and one of the guests don’t like anything’goaty’.
My fall back is a soft cheese like Philadelphia but that doesn’t have the same body as creamy goats cheese. I don’t want the herbs and garlic that come with Boursin, and I’m not sure Feta or ricotta are right either. Not sure hard cheese work. Any ideas please?

Mascrapone. Definitely. That is an amazing soft cheese or cream cheese substitute. For sweet and savoury dishes.

Or creme fresh. However they spell it?!

I would have thought that mascarpone and Creme fraiche would be a bit runny for this?

Not mascrapone. It's quite firm, similar to Philly. Maybe Creme fraiche is too runny though yes, sorry!

Ooooo taleggio.
I want some now. I've not seen that anywhere for ages. mind you not looked.

My Sainsbury does it. Possibly OCADO too.

Well it would be quite different, but thin slices of grilled courgette or aubergine would be delicious.

Yes the grilled courgette would work well, if cut thin enough.

Where are you getting the black pepper Boursin? I love it as the filling in a chicken Kiev type thing, but nowhere seems to sell it anymore.

Just dropping in to say what about Boursin with Truffle? I've seen it in adverts. Anyone tried it?

I’ve made this recipe with blue cheese and it’s also delicious.

Hmm.
Truffle is a very acquired taste. I would only serve this if I knew everyone liked it (and wouldn't eat it myself).
