Ninja food processor

Does anyone have a Ninja food processor?

I just purchased one and it works but things like pureed soups and hummus are still very grainy. Is this normal because it's not a blender, or did I get a defective one? Thank you for any advice Smile

Yeah, I lazily thought that because it has a jug thing, it must do what a blender does. I don't make purées so I'm not bothered. I assume Ninja make separate blenders at £££ so want to make you buy an extra gadget!

Have you tried pulsing it for a long time?

That is, I guess it's normal then. I did pulse forever! Hopefully it will be good for doughs at least...
