Best white chocolate for melting

I need a quick & simple dessert and am going to go for frozen berries in white chocolate sauce.
i haven’t cooked with white chocolate for a long time, but remember it was difficult to find one that melted well.
if you have successfully melted white chocolate recently, which brand did you use? Needs to be from a supermarket rather than mail order but we have all the main supermarkets nearby.
thanks

I made tiffin recently which I topped with white chocolate and just used Tesco Molly brand. To be honest I didn't realise melting white chocolate could be an issue but this melted fine. I just did it in the microwave in short bursts.

Aldis' own white chocolate (from the chocolate aisle, not the baking aisle) is the one I use for my white choc ganache (for crumb coating cakes). I find it melts well.

I once splurged on really expensive Green & Backs white choc for a special bake I was doing. It congealed into a solid clump of fatty goo...bleurgh. Lesson: more expensive does not equal better.

Me neither, I use the Aldi one and never have any issues

Thank you all. I use Aldi plain chocolate for brownies etc, it’s better than any other I’ve used for baking. Will try the white from there, didn’t want to risk it without knowing that it melts well.

Made white chocolate ganache using the Aldi white chocolate earlier this year and it worked well. White chocolate is quite yellowy once melted. You could try a drop of violet food colouring to counteract that, but only a drop!

Thanks @NeedtosoundoffandbreatheI actually think that the contrast between the chocolate (which is mixed with a bit of cream) and the red fruits is one of the appealling things about the recipe, not really an issue if it’s yellow.
