Prepping veggies

Hello
I have difficulties chopping, peeling root vegetables, and as Christmas approaches, it becomes even more painful. Do people here have any tips, advice or recommended tools (e.g a food chopper, processor)? I love to make vegetable soup with a blender. Are there any reliable blenders available?
Thanks.

A lot of veggies like this can be bought prepared - either fresh or frozen - and I think for people with mobility issues, this is a massive benefit. A lot of soups can be made including the skin too which is worth considering.

I like a hand blender for soups and just have a cheap and cheerful one I got in a supermarket many years ago.

As a blender for soup you can’t beat a Vitamix.

I’m with you on peeling and chopping. TBH I only peel if essential, most of the time it’s not and the ‘skin’ is healthy anyway.

very sharp knife and knife sharpener. Get OH to help. You can chop and freeze then take out in batches as you need.

Thank you both.
Yes, veggies with skin, saves time peeling..

I never considered using electrical gadgets or ready chopped vegetables in the past, but now I think I have to, especially since I am experiencing odd pain in my right hand.
Thanks.
