Steeped blackberries- what to do with them?

2mth ago, DH picked blackberries and found a recipe to steep them in gin and sugar. Today he drained them. The fruit is very potent! Any ideas what to do with gin infused blackberries that is vaguely edible and pleasant?

Mix into ice cream like a ripple?

Crumble?

I’ve heard a few people melting dark chocolate, putting it into an ice cube tray and adding the berries with some nuts.

I’ve put them in a cake before now to have with custard, also a boozy crumble mixed with apple and an oat and seed crumble topping, also melted dark chocolate and poured over the fruit with nuts….boozy fruit and nut. I’d have also let the blackberries steep longer than 2 months!

I thought the same, but last year he made similar. I think he used brandy and left it for months and the fruit fell apart to a sludge though.

Thank you for all the inspiration on what to do with the fruit. I ended up making a cake with a lemon drizzle icing. Its still rather boozy, but delicious with custard 😋
