What are people's favourite Christmas desserts? What they've made or had and always go back to? Want some inspiration/ideas

Always a homemade pavlova - light, fresh, tasty, easy to make, looks impressive

Panettone bread and butter pudding is my favourite.

I did warm panettone with brandy sauce last year. It was lush (as we say in Bristol).

Simon Hopkinson’s recipe for Sticky Toffee Pudding is always what my family insist on for Christmas dinner dessert. I make my own vanilla ice-cream to go with it.

I like a lemon posset with blueberries.

Oh l do love a desert.. I'd have a bit of everything l like if l could . We always have a chocolate fudge cake ( Autistic Grandkids). My daughters always wanted veienetta.. l love lemon cheese cake or lemon meringue... or a raspberry pavlova.

I love a roulade. Chocolate with chestnut cream or Chocolate with cherry's, kirsch and cream.

No desert can beat a warm mince pie with brandy butter and posh custard!

Oh, also, a small bowl of homemade rice pudding, served cold with boozy poached grapes, or sultanas or cherries.

Has to be a home made sticky toffee pudding with custard, I do love a Christmas pudding but nobody else eats them but me in our house.

Trifle! There would be outrage if I didn’t make it!

I love chocolate yule log with pouring cream. Though have never tried to make my own. I do scout the supermarkets to see which one looks most chocolatey

Panna cotta with raspberries is my favourite.

Xmas pudding, Xmas cake (I started making it a few years ago) and homemade mince pies. All with a choice of single cream, clotted cream, custard or ice cream (or all of them!!)

My family all like different things so whilst I do Christmas pud for the traditionalists among us, I also do a trifle (to my late gran's specifications), and a vanilla pannacotta topped with a raspberry gelee. And because my dad is weird and doesn't like sweet things, he gets a mini cheeseboard.
