Right, have looked up many recipes and none grab me.

Need thai style crab cake recipe.

Also am doing SE Asian inspired style buffet for 6 people, so if anyone has any nice salad type suggestions t'would be great - have looked at so many recipes I now feel brain dead.

I also have one veggie. Git.

salads

-pomelo tossed with prawns/peanuts/fried onions/coriander/mint
(dressing of fish sauce/sugar/garlic/chili/lime juice)

-grated carrots and shredded chinese cabbage with grilled chicken/cashews/orange segments/coriander
(dress with soy sauce/honey/orange juice/sesame oil)

for the veggie fare make a green or red curry with assorted veg.
If you make a red curry, always add something sweet like lychees or grapes

that pomelo/prawn one sounds v good.

Am off to new deluxe asian hypermarket tonight with DH... Little does he know....
