The perfect coffee machine....?

I have searched and searched and have not found this. I saw one at Lakeland about 5 years ago which is why I know it exists but....

DH and I like filter coffee (drip coffee). We have limited space and currently have a standard, small filter machine. I feel the coffee quality has deteriorated and suspect it's just an old machine that needs replacing. I could replace with something similar - that's easy.

But I'd like to upgrade to include an espresso maker as well. Both Dh and I routinely drink filter but like the odd espresso. NOT from a pod.

So, does anyone have any ideas? Ideally, not too expensive - I seem to recall the Lakeland one wasn't cheap so perhaps I might have to accept that!

I had a Krups combi one which cost about £150 twenty plus years ago but it just wasn't very good, which may be why you can't seem to buy them any more. DeLonghi make one which is about £300 but all the others seem to be disappearing from the market. It's actually quite hard to find a filter machine full stop these days, so a combi one is going to be almost impossible.

We have a really good AEG filter (sadly no longer available; I'm dreading the day this gives up the ghost) alongside a Gaggia espresso machine.
