Low cost fairly quick meals

I’m trying to have a low cost week, please can I have some of your go to low cost low effort meals?

i have a slow cooker and use it all the time, so can do slow cooker ideas.

Vegetable or potato curry, we also sometimes use Quorn

Spag bol

Chilli

Sausage, chips and beans

Dahl

Burritos/burrito bowls - beans/rice/veg plus whatever dips you want

Marry me beans

Things on toast (eggs & mushrooms, beans etc)

Jacket potatoes

Chicken wraps with salad

Toad on a hole

Veg soup

Tuna pasta

Dhal with frozen parathas

Jacket potatoes, cauliflower cheese and veggie sausages (really wish I was having this tonight!)

My kids love this one; tip can of tuna in sunflower oil into frying pan, add garlic/garlic puree, chuck in some finely chopped broccoli then some cooked rice. Delicious, fairly cheap and nutritious.

Spanish omelette, especially if you randomly have a tin of potatoes. I'm determined to master a microwave Spanish omelette, I'm sure it could work 🤣
