ROAST LEG OF PORK - HOW LONG TO COOK?

Being a bit dim today - have a large joint for dinner - weight is 1450g.

How long to cook?

ANyone please?

Just checked one of my cookery books, as a guide...

• Joints on the bone, 200 C or gas 6 for 30 mins per 450g/1lb plus an extra 20-30 mins
• rolled or stuffed joints, 190 C gas 5 for 30 mins per 450g/1lb plus an extra 20-30 mins

Do you have a meat thermometer to check it's cooked, otherwise pierce with skewer - juices will be clear if cooked.
