The cupboard is bare! Where is your favourite supermarket for canned goods please? And what do you always like to have in?

That pretty much describes my entire larder!

I always get Asda’s tinned tuna in sundried tomato sauce as it makes a really quick and easy dinner when added to pasta.

Lidl and Aldi particularly Lidl and their 'weeks'

Im overun with jars of pesto and pastes, artichokes, olives, tahini, nut butters, antipasti, soups, grains of all types, little jars of this and that that I cant even remember or describe. Condensed milk, coconut milk, tomatoes, some veg in tins, lentils, beans.

im virtually bomb proof. Cant make my way through it. I cant resist

Oh yes tinned fish, forgot all that

Also a whole cupboard of spices, flours, sugars, dried fruits.

The lidl limited time greek section is a disaster. It needs to go ASAP. So many uneaten tins of stuffed vineleaves in my larder. Irresistible.

Well luckily the vine leaves all get eaten here but there are tins aplenty of the aubergine in tomatoes, green beans in tomatoes, butter beans in tomatoes (you get the drift)

Plus those lovely biscuits with apricot jam in them and chocolate at one end. No self respecting Greek person would eat this shit but I love it!

Oh and all the tahini. THE TAHINI!

I picked up a honey tahini by accident once, didnt notice it. I cannot stop eating the stuff. Hot toast, thick thick butter, thick thick honey tahini. (serving suggestion)

Farmfoods can be good for bog standard stuff, nothing interesting though.
