Why do I always find weird stuff in my food?

Why is it always me who gets weird bits in my food? Nearly every dinner I find bone pieces in my sausage, mince or even chicken nugget (this one was today, a rare Saturday night treat. I think it was a bone, it was dark brown and rock hard). Or I find plastic bits in my veg, cereal, even in some parmesan cheese! Hairs too. No matter where I get my food shop from: tesco, Sainsburys, butchers, local market. I have tried it all! Am I just unlucky? Husband or child never come across weird bits. I am seriously losing my appetite for food. My kitchen is spotless so it’s not like it happens during cooking, it also happens at other places outside home. Is anyone else an unlucky eater or am I alone?

Because you’re looking for it. Others just chew through it.

Um.. absolutely not?? Bought, prepackaged food should not contain bones with out warning, hair and certainly no plastic at all. Are you saying we’re all eating chunks of plastic in our food multiple times a day, but only the op notices bc she looks for it? Foreign objects in food is a serious matter, I’m not sure if she’s reporting these things but there would definitely be product recalls so they could check for safety.
Not quite on your level op, but I found a toenail in a Tesco pasta salad when I was about 18, it was actually in my mouth and I was chewing on it 🤢 it knocked me sick to the point I’ve not eaten another one 22 years later

Your posts gets funnier every time I read it. ‘Others just chew through the plastic, human hair and random bones in their food’ 🤦🏼‍♀️

Is there any chance a family member is putting it in your food?

I prepare the food and serve it. Husband and child play while I cook and don’t even enter the kitchen.
I used to make a complaint each time but have given up. Only a few days ago I left a review on the tesco app for some sausages that contained bones, it never got posted!
