Roast sirloin joint but not a Sunday dinner

So I have a 1kg sirloin joint. Four of us for dinner on Friday night but would prefer not to do a traditional Sunday dinner type meal. Still want to roast it but any ideas of what I could serve it with rather than the usual roast potatoes yorkies, carrots, broccoli? Thank you.

Dauphinoise potatoes? With green veg like nice fine beans or tenderstem? That would be what I would do!

Sliced on a toasted ciabatta with some horseradish and rocket with chips would be my choice 🤤. Or maybe a sort of French dip sandwich with gravy/jus?

Definitely dauphinois!

French dip or roast with ginger garlic chilli soy sauce fish sauce .swerve with rice and stir fried bok Choi .

Some sort of 'soft' potatoes, mash or dauphinois or gratin.

I sometimes make a mix of potato and parsnip mash with a clove of garlic and a sprinkle of ground ginger.

Champ or colcannon would go well.

Then some green veg, maybe a mixed pack of broccoli, green beans and mange tout.

Maybe a mustard sauce instead of gravy.

Lovely. We do this sort of thing fairly often.

Serve like a huge steak, sliced with mushrooms sauce, chips, baked tomatoes.

Slice and serve on ciabattas with a slaw of some sort, lots of mustard and a side salad.

Slice more finely and serve with a mix of salads and new potatoes. We like a tomatoe/onion/parsley salad and a green salad of some sort.

If you want more hot, i agree with dauphinoise potatoes and some steamed greens.

Dauphinoise, greens and a red wine jus.

Seeing as you'll have the oven on already: Roasted aubergines, capsicums, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. Served on a bed of rocket/basil/any sort of green leaves. Garlic bread (crowd pleaser). Minimal prep and minimal cleanup.

With a nice peppercorn sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and french beans and sautéed kale.
