Can you freeze croissants/pain au chocolat? I'm so fed up with having to stop off at M&S before I pick them up. They don't have them every day, but it's still one thing I could do without.

don't think they freeze well TBH .. but try one ..you never know

you can get frozen part-baked croissants and then cook the mix I seem to remember

I'm pretty sure that you can. I seem to recall seeing the little snowflake icon on the back of the ones from tesco, which means they're suitable for home freezing.

Yes you can - recommend you allow to defrost naturally if poss and then pop in oven for a few minutes to freshen up

How about those ones you can but from the chiller - keep them in the fridge and just cook them when you want them?

you can freeze pretty much any bread product and it'll thaw ok.

I'm always surprised at the 'freezing' questions. We freeze everything. Pretty much everything will freeze, will it not.

We tried some non-baked frozen dough ones at xmas and they were fantastic. You leave them out overnight to thaw and rise, then you pop them in the oven for 20 minutes.

Well, I find that things definitely freeze okay, it's just that I sometimes get gruesome results when they thaw....

Croissants fine though, but def pop in oven for a freshen up.
