Would any of you that have one like to pass on any good knowledge of how to make a nice soup. I am no cook, and I have only attempted soups a few times in the past.
Now I have this(I think it’s the smaller version as you can just take the cup off and it has one of those handles to make it so you can mix and go lol)
Anyway, so far we have enjoyed making some milkshakes(DC request of course 😄) i would like to look at how I can make those more nutritious too, not to replace a meal for my child, but if a child wants a milkshake or smoothie for breakfast and it can be made more healthy/filling/nutritious I’m all for that!

I am also looking forward to making an iced coffee of some sort, I love Mocha’s so will need to see what I can put in there to get that right.

Just in case, you can’t put hot things in there or carbonated etc.

With soups i would love to do tomato or chicken/lamb. Then not being silly but I’m thinking can I do this in a cold mixer, but for some part of it, it will help.

Thankyou!

I don’t know what the product is that you’ve got - a blender of some sort?

In answer to your question about smoothies, my DC have them a lot for breakfast. We keep a supply of frozen fruit (strawberries / blueberries / raspberries). Our standard breakfast blend is just a banana, a handful of frozen fruit, milk and honey. Can add oats for low GI carbs, walnuts (great for omegas), sunflower seeds (source of Vit E and various vitamins and minerals).

You can buy ready made frozen smoothie blends too. Just experiment and see what you and the DC like.

Thankyou yes it’s a blender. Sorry i thought being a bit ignorant there, by the name people would know. Yes that sounds good and with oats! Wasn’t sure how that would work but of course when they are in with other things and liquid then it should be fine.
I will also look up some more ideas online, thanks.
