Traybake ideas please!

I'm travelling to MILs on Tuesday for her birthday, we have offered to bring lunch, I'm thinking a traybake I could prepare ahead of time and pop in the oven when there?

Does anyone have any good recipes to share please? Will be for 4 people.

I would usually pop to m&s and get a ready to cook deal, but that has been met with criticism before...

We love a chicken/chorizo tray bake with veg. Very simple and not an exact recipe. You'll need baby potatoes (halved at least), chicken pieces, chorizo pieces, any veg (we do pepper, onion wedges, mushrooms usually) and orange or lemon wedges. Everything goes into a large oven tray, baked at 180. I usually put the potatoes into for a few mins first and add the chorizo closer to the end so it doesn't burn. Make sure you move it around a bit once or twice during cooking to get all the juices mixed.

Thank you, I love the sound of this, do you serve on its own or with some bread to mop up the juices?

Another chorizo one:
Line the bottom of baking dish with chorizo slices. Top with frozen white fish. Mix 2tsp of English mustard and 2tsp of French mustard into a 300ml pot of single cream. Pour over the top and bake until the fish is cooked (15mins?). Serve with green veg.

I would make a luxurious lasange or two.

Yes usually just some nice bread! It is devoured by all in my house, from 4 to 40 😅
