Soft BBQ foods- guest struggling to chew

We’ve got people over tomorrow for a bbq, but one person has had some dental work and is struggling to chew. They are surviving at the moment on soft foods and soups. Apparently it’s all fine and I’m not to make special effort, but I wondered if anyone has good ideas for things I could add to usual bbq items they could have.

Fish maybe? Wrap in foil stick on bbq?

I’d do salmon, courgettes are lovely on the bbq and go nice and soft.

Roasted bananas with chocolate drops for afters?

Pulled pork is a good shout actually, I know they’ve liked that before!

fish options also a good idea.

pudding is fine, I’ve got icecream at least!

Thanks- they are being all “don’t worry, don’t make a fuss, I’m sure I’ll be fine” but I want there to be options they can manage. (Worst case scenario- I’ve got a load of soup I made last week in the freezer!)

DH BBQ’s fish- it’s lovely. You’ll need one of those dodgy holders though or maybe tin foil would do.
Fluffy jacket pot? DH scrapes the pot out of the skin mashes it with cheese and puts it back in.

Fish.

Bubble and squeak/other vegetable patties

Not bbq as such but this Aussie favourite should be melt in the mouth when made properly

Jacket potato done in the coals would be lovely and soft.

Big thank you for your help, it went really well! They managed one hotdog (eaten in very small bits and very slowly!), some pulled pork, potato salad and then one of the other guests had made an amazing pavlova which was fine. Mainly, managed to not make a fuss or draw attention to their slightly awkwardness around eating - success!
