glass jars of baby food

when i was weaning ds1 (2 years ago) there were reports in the news about risk from chemicals in the lids of glass baby food jars - have not seen anything since - anyone else know anything about this?

wasnt it one of the chemicals used in making the seals could cause cancer. i didnt pay attention to it tbh.

yes something like that - wondered whether they had removed chemical.
