Where do you buy your nuts and seeds from? I've tried Grape Tree but I'm not keen. There isn't anywhere else on the high street here. Hence I'm looking for advice!

I get mine here:

Do you have some particular reason for not buying from a supermarket? The Fudco brand is decent quality/price IME.

Oh hmmm link didn't attach, let me try again:

Ah well links don't seem to be working for me!

It's buywholefoodsonline.co.uk

Aldi has a good range of nuts and seeds.

HoneyHoneyHowYouThrillMe · 21/08/2025 10:33

Yes I also pick up, ad hoc, from Morrisons or LIDL/ALDI.

Well.....interesting you mention supermarkets. They don't seem to do organic as a rule and the packs are relatively small. Maybe I've not been looking in the right place?

I'll check out that website, thank you 😊

I'm not hard and fast about organic, although it is an important consideration for me; when I buy bulk I'll buy organic but if I'm just buying a small pack of Brazil nuts or whatever to tide me over then I'm happy to buy from the supermarket.

DH sometimes gets organic nuts from Waitrose - quite small packs, and not cheap.

HoneyHoneyHowYouThrillMe · 21/08/2025 11:16

Yes if I could still shop at Waitrose or M&S I'd probably go there for organic, they do tend to have a better range. Or at least they did some years ago.

Its a shame about Grape Tree because it's so convenient for me, but the nuts do taste quite dry and stale
